Consultation services

A more connected plant.
A more capable operation.

Start with automation, smart connectivity and measurable manufacturing improvements. IATF and Q1 readiness support is also available when quality systems or supplier performance need attention.

01

Automation

Identify where automation can reduce repetitive work, improve process consistency and address production constraints. Define the use case, review equipment and integrator options, and plan a practical implementation with your team.

Opportunity assessment • Equipment selection • Launch support
02

Smart Connectivity

Connect machines, PLCs, HMIs, test equipment and business systems where supported. Turn disconnected records into useful production information, with clear data requirements and a phased plan developed with your controls and IT teams.

Machine data • Connected software • Production visibility
03

Smart Manufacturing

Put Industry 4.0 tools to work on the losses that matter. Combine reliable data, process stability and daily-management practices to improve uptime, throughput and productivity, with clear ownership for each countermeasure.

Industry 4.0 planning • Daily management • Operational improvement
04

IATF

Strengthen IATF 16949 readiness through quality-system gap reviews, internal assessment, corrective-action support and preparation for customer or certification audits.

Quality systems • Audit preparation • Corrective action
05

Q1

Support Ford Q1 readiness with a review of supplier-performance gaps, supporting evidence and improvement priorities. Build an action plan aligned with the requirements applicable to your facility.

Supplier readiness • Performance review • Improvement planning

Visibility with a purpose

What is the data
helping you improve?

Define the operating question first. Then connect reliable data, meaningful measures and a response your team can execute.

Where are we losing available time?

COLLECT

Machine states, stop durations, downtime reasons and maintenance response.

UNDERSTAND

Separate recurring equipment failures from changeovers, material waits and other production losses.

ACT

Prioritize repeat stops, assign countermeasures and verify the change across shifts.

Smart connectivity, grounded in your plant

Build on what works.
Connect what matters.

Legacy equipment, disconnected systems and manual records do not all require the same answer. We help define where to connect, where to improve a workflow and where new technology can earn its place.

Map your next step
01

Data collection & context

Identify useful machine signals, test results and operator inputs. Define timestamps, part and job identifiers, reason codes and data-quality checks.

02

Connected software & workflows

Evaluate how ERP, MES, WMS, quality and maintenance tools should exchange information. Scope supported integrations or targeted workflows with your IT and controls teams.

03

Smart visibility & response

Design practical views, alerts and escalation paths. Make it clear what changed, who owns the response and whether the countermeasure worked.

The engagement

Start with a clear baseline.
Leave with a path forward.

  1. 01

    Assess

Walk the process. Establish the baseline.

Review the operation, equipment, current systems and data quality. Agree on the loss or constraint that matters first.

  2. 02

    Prioritize

    Build a practical improvement roadmap.

Define the use cases, system requirements, responsibilities and investment sequence. Separate immediate process fixes from technology projects.

  3. 03

    Prove

Start with one line, cell or workflow.

Support a scoped pilot with your team and selected providers. Validate data accuracy, usability and operational impact before expanding.

  4. 04

    Sustain

Make improvement part of the shift.

Establish standard work, escalation, training and performance reviews. Confirm the team can maintain the solution and the gains.

A scoped engagement can include:

Current-state findings · Automation opportunities · Data and system map · Prioritized roadmap · Pilot requirements · Measures, owners and review cadence

The human countermeasure

Technology is part
of the turnaround.
People make it work.

Software can make a problem visible. Your operating system—people, processes and daily decisions—determines what happens next.

  • Hands-on operations and continuous-improvement perspective
  • Independent guidance on software and automation options
  • Process stability, standard work and team capability built into the plan

We are your Countermeasure.

Before we begin

Practical questions.
Straight answers.

Do we need to replace our ERP or buy a new MES?

Not necessarily. We start with the systems and processes you already have. The recommendation may be better use of existing software, targeted connections, a scoped custom workflow or a platform evaluation. The operational need comes first.

Can every machine, HMI and test station be connected?

Connectivity must be verified equipment by equipment. We review supported interfaces, available data, permissions, network requirements and supportability with your controls, IT and technology teams. Where direct connectivity is not practical, we evaluate appropriate collection alternatives.

Do you provide IATF certification or Q1 approval?

No. THCCS provides independent readiness reviews and operational guidance. These services do not issue OEM approval, IATF certification or Q1 status.

Can we focus on an immediate operational turnaround?

Yes. Start with the performance problem. We can focus the engagement on uptime, throughput, productivity, quality or material flow. Industry 4.0 tools are evaluated as part of the solution, alongside process stability, standard work and team capability.

What happens in the introductory consultation?

In a 45-minute conversation, we discuss your operation, current equipment and systems, automation opportunities and immediate priorities. We identify a sensible next step and the scope of any follow-on work. A full plant assessment or integration design requires a separate engagement.
